How to get there: Take an SWR service to Clapham Junction, then change for the Overground to Hampstead Heath. From there, it’s around a 15-minute walk to the pub.

The Lamb & Flag Pub, Covent Garden

Take a stroll down a narrow alley in Covent Garden this Christmas and find yourself a nook inside one of London’s oldest pubs, The Lamb & Flag. Whether you are shopping or just looking for somewhere to escape to before or after a West End show, The Lamb & Flag is the perfect spot.  

How to get there:From London Waterloo, take the Northern line to Leicester Square. The pub is a short walk from the station. 

The Churchill Arms, Kensington

You might recognise The Churchill Arms. The pub is famous for its floral exterior all-year-round but it’s the traditional interiors and beautifully festive decor in the winter months that make it a top choice for Christmas time. It’s also a great option for foodies or anyone looking for something more than turkey and stuffing as its Thai Kitchen is famously good. 

How to get there: Take an SWR service to  London Waterloo, then continue by Underground to Notting Hill Gate. The Churchill Arms is around a 5-minute walk from the station.

The Cricketers, Curdridge

From Christmas parties to wreath making workshops and a festive menu to boot, you’ll honestly find it all at The Cricketers Inn.
