Easy access to airports on our network means hassle free and sustainable travel

Getting to and from the airport is easy with South Western Railway, whether you're heading abroad for a family holiday or making an important business trip.

Please allow a minimum of 10 minutes to connect between your train and any bus or coach to Heathrow Airport. Journey times will be affected by traffic, especially during morning and evening peak times.

Southampton Airport

You can easily reach Southampton Airport from Southampton Airport (Parkway) station – only 99 steps separate the station and the terminal, making it one of the easiest airport transfers in the country.There are regular direct trains to and from Weymouth, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Basingstoke and London. There are also direct CrossCountry services to Reading, Oxford, the Midlands and the North.

Heathrow Airport

There are direct bus or coach services to Heathrow Airport from Feltham, Staines, Woking, Guildford, Basingstoke and several other SWR stations, providing convenient connections when travelling from almost anywhere on our network. Gatwick Airport

The train station is within the South Terminal at Gatwick Airport, with direct trains to Brighton and Central London, including St Pancras International for Eurostar.

Exeter Airport

Exeter Airport is around 5.5 miles from Exeter St Davids station and there’s a regular bus service. The airport falls within the Exeter PlusBus area, and child and Railcard discounts are available on combined rail and bus tickets.

Stansted Airport

Stansted Aiport is easily accessed by RailAir coach from London Waterloo, saving multiple tube changes. It costs just £12 and can get you there in 1 hour and 10 minutes. Coaches run every 20 minutes, and you can buy your tickets at the ticket office or from our self-service machines.
