How do I use a Family and Friends Railcard?
To use it, any adult (aged 16 or over) should travel with at least one child (aged 5-15) - but you can get a discount for up to four adults and four children travelling together with one railcard!

Who can travel on a Family and Friends Railcard?
Family and Friends railcard discounts include saving you 1/3 on up to 4 adult fares, and 60% on up to 4 kids' tickets (between 5 and 15 years old) anywhere in the country. You can have two named adults on your railcard, so if one cardholder isn’t using it, the other can!

How much does a Family and Friends Railcard cost?
The Family and Friends Railcard costs just £30 a year, or £70 for the three-year card - saving you £20.

How do I apply for a Family and Friends Railcard?
You can apply online, call the team on 0345 3000 250, or download an application form and apply at a staffed station with a passport-size photo of yourself and valid ID.

How long does it take to get a Family and Friends Railcard?
You should allow five working days for your applications to be processed and have your railcard posted to you, but you can pay a special delivery fee if you need it sooner.
