At South Western Railway, we want everyone to travel with confidence.

We have introduced a service for Deaf and BSL-using customers, which translates live journey information to British Sign Language.

Users can access BSL translations as videos direct to their device using the SWR One Scan dashboard. It is easy to use and does not require an app.

Videos are provided by Signapse through their AI translation service.


How to use the service:

  1. Click the link below, or scan the QR code, to open the SWR One Scan dashboard and see live journey information

  2. This link takes you to journey information for London Waterloo, use the search function to find your station or journey
  3. Enable BSL translations using the BSL icon in the top right

  4. Translate journey information by clicking the icon within the yellow boxes

SWR One Scan is also available on many of our trains, where you can access journey information by scanning the QR codes on board. This will automatically take you information about the train you are on.
