Born in Edinburgh, the Foodies Festival has been running for 21 years. It is the UK's largest food, drink and music festival. It celebrates food from each region and encourages participation of locals. You can find artisan producers and small foodie businesses from around the country and further afield proposing a wide selection of products and ingredients. Foodies Festival is the perfect place to taste delicious food from all around the world from the various street food traders. The festival is also an opportunity to discover or rediscover your favourite local food and drink producers.  

When and where is Foodies Festival? 

The Foodies Festival takes place across 9 cities in the United Kingdom: Brighton, London, St Albans, Tatton Park, Winchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Oxford and Bath. You can get to London and Winchester Festival locations with South Western Railway.

How do I get to Foodies Festival?


Travelling by train to London 

 

Getting to Foodies Festival is easy with SWR offerings. You can travel to London using SWR services from various stations, such as Reading, Southampton Central, Exeter St Davids, Weymouth, and Portsmouth Harbour. With frequent departures and comfortable onboard facilities, enjoy a relaxed journey. 




Travelling by train to Winchester 

 

From London, it takes approximately one hour to get to Winchester train station. You can travel to Winchester with South Western Railway from several stations, including Waterloo, Portsmouth, Weymouth

Things to see and do at Foodies Festival 

There is lots to see and do at Foodies Festival. There are various stalls and stages to keep everyone entertained, from children to adults.  A regular adult ticket costs £25 for one day and is £8 for a child (5-16 years). The festival works with charities, and tickets are donated to local causes and events. 

 

Food and drinks 

Discover local street food traders and taste delicious food from all around the world at traders and producers’ stalls. Are you feeling brave for a challenge? Push yourself and try the Hot Chilli Challenge taking place each day. 

The Foodies Festival celebrates food in every way. Craft stalls from artisan companies and small food businesses show off a wide selection of products and ingredients from around the country and further afield.

Live music 


Every ticket includes access to the music stage, with chart-topping brands, emerging artists and local talent performing all weekend. The Crisis music stage is part of every festival, with donations encouraged and a percentage of ticket revenue donated to Crisis. 

Headliners at the Food Festival in London are Scouting for Girls and Boyzlife, featuring Brian McFadden and Gareth Gates. 

Headliners at the Food Festival in Winchester Festival are Symphonic Ibiza and Gareth Gates with Boyband in the Park.

Foodies Festival is more than just eating and drinking. It is also about learning and celebrating local chefs.  

Join the Drinks Theatre and let experts guide you with tutored tastings every hour, and enjoy wine, champagne, beer, cider and cocktails. 

Entertain your little ones with the Kids Cook School, where they can taste new flavours and learn basic cooking skills. 

Learn new skills at the Cake and Bake Theatre and watch local bakers, baking and making sweet treats. Discover all of their masterclasses.
