How do I get to the event in Battersea Park?

Travelling by train

The nearest station to Battersea Park that is accessible by SWR is Queenstown Road (Battersea) Station which is a short 6-minute walk away from the park and is served with regular trains from other London stations such as London Waterloo and Clapham Junction.

If travelling from further afield, many South Western Railway routes such as Bournemouth, Woking and Southampton can access these London stations directly. You just need to make one change at these stations to get to Battersea Park station which is a 4-minute walk away from the park itself.

Musical Performances

As Battersea Park in Concert celebrates four years with a fantastic fourth evening, you will experience a variety of musical acts from blues acoustic and jazz to orchestral performances.. With a showstopping line up, see some of the scheduled acts below:

For the first time, the event opens a night early on Friday 28 August with Sounds of South Africa. Audiences can enjoy a special UK performance from Jeremy Loops, joined by the London African Gospel Choir, performing Paul Simon’s ‘Graceland’ live.  

Saturday starts the weekend off with Pop Symphonic and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Listen to tunes from ABBA, Queen, WHAM!, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Ace of Base and many more.  
 
Sunday focuses on music from your favourite musicals with songs from movies such as Wicked, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and Mamma Mia!. All performed by well-known singers and backed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. End the night with a spectacular fireworks display that’s not to be missed. 
 
Monday brings everything to a close with Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, direct from Soho’s legendary club, joined by The Amy Winehouse Band, celebrating 20 years of Back to Black. The afternoon showcases will take centre stage, this exceptional orchestra will be accompanied by special guests such as Ella Fitzgerald, Chaka Khan and more. 

The Battersea Park in Concert ends the weekend on a high with festivities, music and dancing.

General admission tickets start from £45.69 for adults and £21.50 for children aged 5-13, with kids under 5 going free! Family tickets are also available for two adults and two children from £123.63.

Battersea Park in Concert caters for all, with accessibility practices in place. There is a wheelchair viewing platform which tickets can be purchased for prior to the weekend. This raised viewing platform allows for a clear view of the acts.

If specific parking is needed there are Blue Badge parking spaces available that need to be reserved in advance free of charge.
