From Monday 11 May until the end of September, trains will not call at Berrylands station, which will be closed for upgrades.
The main part of the upgrade will see the station’s two platforms replaced, while new lighting, CCTV systems, Customer Information Screens and help points will be installed, to improve the station experience for our customers.
If you’re travelling towards London Waterloo
Customers travelling from Berrylands towards London Waterloo should use the rail replacement bus to New Malden to avoid paying more to travel.
If you’re travelling towards Woking
Customers travelling from Berrylands towards Woking should use the rail replacement bus to Surbiton to avoid paying more to travel.
Regular connecting rail services will operate to and from both New Malden and Surbiton stations.
Tapping in and out
Customers must not tap in or out at Berrylands and only tap in or out at the stations where they start or finish their journeys.
Rail replacement bus services
Buses will run to New Malden and Surbiton every 30 minutes, departing from bus stops A and B on Surbiton Hill Park, a short walk from Berrylands station.
Journeys are expected to take approximately 12 minutes and will run as follows:
Berrylands to New Malden (from The Berrylands, stop B)
*This service will also call at Raynes Park and Wimbledon.
**This service will also call at Wimbledon.
Berrylands to Surbiton (from The Berrylands, stop A)
Ticketing
The ticket office at Berrylands is expected to be closed for around three months during the upgrade programme.
The station's ticket vending machine will be available, however it will be card payments only. Between the hours of 0620 and 1010, Monday to Friday, an SWR colleague will be available to support customers.
Facilities and parking
The station toilets and the station car park will be closed throughout. Toilets and car parking are available at both New Malden and Surbiton.
