Where and when is Country on the Common? 


Country on the Common returns to Tooting Commons on Saturday 4 July and Sunday 5 July 2026 with the event taking place at Lido Field, SW16 1RU. Gates open at 1pm on both days with last entry at 8:30pm, and the festival finishes at 10:30pm on Saturday and 9:30pm on Sunday.  

Ticket prices start from £49.45 for adults and £21.50 for children aged 3 to 13, while children under 3 can go free. There is also a family ticket option which includes two adult tickets and two child tickets (ages 3 to 13) for £129. Weekend tickets start from £93.53 for adults and £43 for children. How do I get to the Country on the Common Festival? 

Travelling by Train 


To get to Country on the Common, the easiest SWR routes are via Wimbledon or Clapham Junction. From London Waterloo to Wimbledon takes around 16 minutes by SWR, then you can continue on the 57 bus towards the event venue. You can also travel from London Waterloo to Clapham Junction and then take the 319 or 219 bus, which stops close to the Tooting Common festival site.

Live music


Live music is the heart of Country on the Common with performances across multiple stages all weekend. Saturday is headlined by Seasick Steve, while Cody Pennington tops the bill on Sunday. You can also expect sets from Kezia Gill, Elles Bailey, Twinnie, One Night in Nashville and Vernon Kay’s Country Jukebox DJ set. 

Festival Activities  


There is plenty to do between sets at this Tooting Common festival. Visitors can join in with line dancing, try axe throwing, take on the rodeo bull and enjoy lasso lessons. Campfire sessions also run across the weekend, adding to the full country festival feel. 

Food and Drink 


Food and drink are a big part of the Country on the Common festival too. There will be Americana inspired street food along with BBQ, craft beer, a whiskey bar and cocktails, so there is plenty to keep you going while you enjoy the music.  

Family Fun


If you are bringing children, there is lots for them to enjoy as well. Family friendly activities include the Old West Circus, The Craft Corral, open fire s’mores and more.

Things to do near Tooting Commons 

Tooting Common is in a lively part of south London, so there is plenty to see around the area while you are visiting the festival. Tooting Bec Lido is a place that’s well known locally with its large open-air pool, cafe and colourful changing huts. If you want to stay close to Country on the Common, Balham and Tooting are good places to look. Travelodge London Balham is a handy option on Balham High Road. Premier Inn London Tooting is another easy choice, close to Tooting Market and both Tooting Broadway and Tooting Bec stations. If you would prefer somewhere a little smaller and quieter Balham Lodge is another good option in the area‌. 

 

Country on the Common Festival Accessibility


The event takes place on a mostly flat open-air site at Tooting Commons, with hard paths leading to the entrance, although the ground inside the arena is grass and may be muddy in wet weather. There is a pre-bookable accessible viewing platform for wheelchair users and guests with restricted mobility, and each booking includes one essential companion ticket.
