The forecourt works currently underway at the station continue to progress well and we expect them to be substantially complete by early June 2025.
New Fisherton Station Car Park
It is anticipated that the new 89 space Fisherton Station Car Park will be open during the week beginning Tuesday 22nd June. This is in addition to the existing main station car park (lower level) Details of access arrangements can be found in the diagram below:

Closure of Station Forecourt to Vehicles 25th – 29th April 2025
Please also note that there will be restricted access to the station forecourt and reduced levels of parking in the main station car park 24 hours a day between 20.00 on Friday 25th April and 04.00 on 29th April. This is to enable the resurfacing of the access roads around the forecourt as part of the wider improvement scheme. There will be NO vehicular access into the station from South Western Road / Mill Road between these times. All vehicular access (entry and exit) will be using the Churchfields Road access point to the car park.
No vehicles will be able to enter the main forecourt area including for pick up drop off. The revised arrangements will be:
- Pick up / drop off: new temporary location in lower part of main car park
- Accessible bays: New temporary location in lower end of main car park
- Taxis: New temporary location on South Western Road
- Parking: either reduced number of spaces in main station car park (lower end) or new Fisherton Station Car Park
- Pedestrians will be able to access the station entrance via Mill Road / South Western Road or Churchfields Road. The cycle hub will be accessible from Churchfields Road.
- The Stonehenge bus will temporarily depart and set down at the Fisherton Street stops.
Temporary Vehicular Access Restrictions 22nd – 24th April (nights only)
Please note that there will be additional vehicle restrictions on the above dates between 21.00 and 04.30 only for drainage works. This will mean that the road access across the front of the station entrance will be closed between these times. The vehicular exit route will be via Churchfields Road only. Customers parked in the accessible bays and needing to leave after 21.00 will be able to do so via Churchfields Road.
