SWR customers invited to “Meet the Manager” at virtual event

Railway customers are being given the opportunity to quiz senior South Western Railway (SWR) managers at a virtual “Meet the Manager” event on Tuesday 13 April.

Key figures from across SWR will be on hand to answer any questions, including how the railway is preparing for the return of customers as restrictions ease over the coming months, and the steps the operator is taking to keep its trains and stations clean.

The Meet the Manager event will last from 15:00 until 19:00 on the day and each one-to-one session will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams or Zoom, lasting around 15 minutes.

SWR is working closely with independent body, Transport Focus, who are helping to facilitate the event.

Customers keen to put their questions to the business are encouraged to book their space as soon as possible as availability is limited. They can do so by emailing meet.swr@transportfocus.org.uk with their contact details, their preferred time and the topic they would like to discuss by Tuesday 23 March.

Christian Neill, SWR’s Deputy Director of Customer Experience, said:
“Listening to the experience of our customers helps us drive improvements to our services across our network.

“We also know that as more of our customers look to return to the railway over the coming months, many of them will have questions about the steps we’re taking to keep them safe. This is a perfect opportunity for them to hear about how we’re working hard to ensure that when they start to travel, they can travel with confidence.”
