There will be significant changes to train services over the Christmas and New Year period. For full details please visit our dedicated webpage here.
- On Christmas Eve, all mainline services will finish by 2200. Island Line services will finish by 2100.
- There will be no SWR services on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
- There will be no services between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 December.
- Between Sunday 28 December and Sunday 4 January, an amended train service will operate on all lines via Barnes.
Services from Vauxhall and Queenstown Road (Battersea)
SWR services will not call at Vauxhall station between Saturday 27 December and Tuesday 30 December, and again on Monday 1 January.
Queenstown Road (Battersea) station will be closed from Saturday 27 December to Sunday 4 January.
New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
On New Year’s Eve, an amended timetable will operate and all services via Barnes will start and finish journeys at Clapham Junction.
There will also be some minor changes to services via Wimbledon, and some additional late-night trains will run from London Waterloo.
On New Years Day, a reduced service will operate on all lines. Services that run via Barnes will start and finish their journeys at Clapham Junction.
Sunday 4 January
On Sunday 4 January, services towards Woking and Reading will be affected by separate engineering work.
Our normal timetable will operate from Monday 5 January.
