When travel restrictions ease, customers at eight of South Western Railway’s London stations will benefit from a refreshed look thanks to its £1.5 million repainting programme.

The programme, which is ongoing, will see stations across the South Western Railway network repainted both internally and externally.

As part of the programme, London stations Wimbledon, Kingston, Berrylands, Richmond, Teddington, Tolworth, Vauxhall and Wandsworth Town have either been repainted or are in process of having the work done.

Alan Penlington, South Western Railway’s Director of Customer Experience, said:

“At South Western Railway, we are committed to improving our stations and performance at every stage of the journey. We know that great customer service consists of more than getting people from A to B, and our determination to enhance our stations is just one example of improving the wider travel experience.

“The £1.5 million investment will smarten up a range of stations across our network and we hope customers in South West London will enjoy the new look."
