Switch to Touch wins Fiona annual prize draw - South Western Railway

  • Customers switching to the Touch Smartcard could win back the value of their Season ticket
  • 'Renew without the queue' campaign is encouraging customers to become Smartcard users.

Between now and the end of April, customers who switch to South Western Railway’s Touch Smartcard have the opportunity to win the cost of their Season ticket. March saw Fiona Whyte becoming the latest customer to win back the value of her Annual Season ticket.

The Touch Smartcard is free and easy to use. Customers can buy and manage their Season or Single and Return journey tickets online, which means they’ll never have to use or replace their paper tickets, or even queue at a ticket office again. A London Travelcard can be also included on customers’ tickets, allowing them to tap ‘in-and-out’ at tube stations across the Transport for London network.

Each month there are three winners drawn from a list of customers who have renewed their weekly, monthly and annual season tickets.

Fiona Whyte, on winning her prize, said:
“I was not expecting to win the prize draw so it was a pleasant surprise to find out that I had. I am looking forward to using the money to pay for some great days out with my family and to make our summer holiday even more memorable.”

The next and final prize draw will be made in early May and customers have until 30th April to enter.
