South Western Railway to give away 1,000s of goodies during National Customer Service Week

Train operator to give away 30,000 breakfasts, 90,000 coffee vouchers and 100,000 packets of jelly beans to customers during National Customer Service Week.

National Customer Service week (2 to 6 October) is just around the corner and to celebrate, South Western Railway (SWR) will be going giveaway mad by handing out thousands of breakfasts, coffee vouchers and packets of jelly beans to commuters during the week on the SWR network.

30,000 hungry commuters heading to London will enjoy a free breakfast on the train, while 90,000 free cups of coffee will be consumed at stations. For those with a sweet tooth, jelly beans a-plenty will also be given away at stations with 100,000 packets making their way into customers’ handbags, briefcases and pockets.

Christian Neill, SWR’s Head of Customer Experience said: “Delivering great customer service really matters to us, so we want to celebrate Customer Service Week in style. Our customers deserve to be treated and we think they’ll really enjoy our great giveaways, making their journeys even better.”

Coffee vouchers will be distributed at Waterloo, Basingstoke, Woking, Wimbledon, Clapham, Guildford, Southampton Central, Portsmouth & Southsea and Epsom on 2 and 4 October.

Jelly beans will be distributed at Waterloo, Basingstoke, Clapham Junction, Guildford, Richmond, Southampton Central, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Portsmouth & Southsea, Surbiton, Woking and Wimbledon on 3, 5 and 6 October.

Breakfast boxes will be distributed on board the train on 3, 5 and 6 October on the following routes:

Portsmouth to Waterloo
Bournemouth to Waterloo
Salisbury to Waterloo
Waterloo to Exeter
Waterloo to Portsmouth
Waterloo to Weymouth
Waterloo to Salisbury
