The last year has changed so many things, travel included - but the value of meeting your clients and colleagues face-to-face has not. And as the UK eases its lockdown measures, the way we travel is constantly changing. If you're planning your next business trip, we want to help you navigate this new world of business travel and get back to travelling safely with SWR.
We’re doing all we can to make travelling with us as safe as possible. At the heart of making sure you can travel safely is our cleaning regime. All our trains are disinfected regularly, and we've enhanced our daily cleaning regimes to focus on commonly-touched surfaces like grab rails, door buttons and ticket machines to help minimise the risk of transmission.
Regularly cleaning our trains is at the heart of keeping you safe when you travel
We're also regularly using a powerful sanitising product which provides strong, long-lasting antimicrobial protection against a range of bacteria, viruses and pathogens on our trains. We’ve installed hand sanitising points at more than 50 of the busiest stations across our network too.
Switching to contactless tickets is a great way to save time and stay safe
We’re here to help you plan your business travel - from avoiding the busiest times to travel to using e-Tickets or a smartcard to make your journey contactless. Make sure that you bring hand sanitiser, and thanks for wearing a face covering at all of our stations and on board our trains.
