Work to make Wandsworth Town station step-free by Summer 2027 has started.
When the work is complete, customers will be able to access platforms via three new lifts and a new second entrance at Odyssey Way.
Platform diversions and service changes will take place between May and October 2026 so that work can be carried out safely.
The station will remain open throughout the upgrades.
Train services for Wandsworth Town will be amended while we install lifts at the station. Some trains will not call at Wandsworth Town.
If you’re travelling from London Waterloo:
From Monday 11 May to Sunday 26 July, trains towards Putney will not call at Wandsworth Town, between the hours of 1100 and 1400, Mondays through to Thursdays.
