Want to help SWR improve services? Let’s Zoom…

Thursday 07th May 2020

South Western Railway (SWR) is hosting its first ever digital Meet the Manager session over Zoom on Thursday 4 June 2020.

The digital session is an opportunity for customers ask questions directly to SWR’s directors and senior management on issues that are important to them, these could include service performance, special timetables and travel during the COVID-19 crisis as well as refunds and investment in new trains.

To ensure the safety of customers and colleagues, and allow anyone to take part, SWR is using Zoom to host 15 minutes one to one sessions.

Spaces are limited, and the sessions will run between 15:00 and 19:00 on the day. SWR’s Customer Experience team will be on hand to help with any technical issues.

Transport Focus will help facilitate the event, as an impartial and independent body, by liaising with customers and the Customer Experience team to arrange timings on SWR’s behalf.

Have a question? Customers are encouraged to send their requests, including contact details, the topic they would like to discuss and preferred time, to Transport Focus before Friday 22 May

Christian Neill, SWR’s Deputy Director of Customer Experience, said:

“Building on the success of the format we introduced late last year, we’re conducting our first ever digital Meet the Manager session.

“Despite the lockdown, customers can still speak directly to senior managers from the comfort of their own home. We know the majority our passengers haven’t travelled with us recently, but we’re still keen to hear on how we can improve services for the benefit of everyone in the long-term.”
