January sale bargains – tickets from just £8

South Western Railway is offering fantastic January sale prices on train tickets.
Ticket prices are fixed depending on the distance travelled.

Between Christmas Day and 8 January South Western Railway is releasing 300,000 discounted off-peak tickets for travel between 2 January and 8 March 2019. Standard Class tickets are priced at £8, £10 and £12 whilst First Class tickets are priced at £12, £16 and £20. A further 50% discount is applied to child tickets.

Ticket types and prices are based on the distance being travelled, for example:

Reading to London - £12 Day Return, saving £8.60.
Basingstoke to London - £12 Day Return, saving £12.30.
Exeter to London - £12 one way or £20 First Class, saving £13.80 and £22.40 respectively.
Bournemouth to London - £10 one way or £16 First Class, saving £8.40 and £13.80 respectively.
Southampton Central to London - £8 one way or £12 First Class, saving £4.10 and £7.90 respectively.

Customers who have signed-up to receive SWR’s emails can access the offers now. People can register to The Great British Rail Sale.

The tickets also qualify for two for one entry in over 150 locations across London at a wide range of attractions, theatres, restaurants and exhibitions - including the London Eye and the London Dungeon.
