RMT strike suspended

We have been informed by the RMT union that the planned strike for Saturday 11 August has been suspended to allow for further talks to take place. This means we intend to run a full timetabled service on the day.

A South Western Railway spokesperson said:
"We are pleased for our passengers that this strike has been called off to allow further talks to take place. This means we will be running a full Saturday timetable on 11 August."
