Industrial action by the ASLEF union is set to take place on the following dates:

  • Monday 6 May – overtime ban, revised service
  • Tuesday 7 May – strike action, significantly reduced service
  • Wednesday 8 to Saturday 11 May – overtime ban, revised service

London Waterloo - Basingstoke (stopping) One train per hour
London Waterloo – Portsmouth via Guildford Two trains per hour
London Waterloo – Portsmouth via Eastleigh One train per hour will run between Winchester and Portsmouth only due to engineering work, calling additionally at Shawford
London Waterloo – Weymouth One train per hour will run between London Waterloo and Weymouth via Havant, and one train will run between Winchester and Weymouth, due to engineering work
Other
Island Line One train per hour
London Waterloo – Alton One train per hour
Portsmouth – Southampton One train per hour
Brockenhurst – Lymington Two trains per hour
Farnham – Guildford Up to two trains per hour
Aldershot  Ascot One train per hour
Southampton Central to Weymouth / Bournemouth to Poole One train per hour

Tuesday 7 May – strike action, only travel if absolutely necessary

An extremely limited service will run on a limited number of lines. Large parts of our network will be closed and trains will only run between:

  • Basingstoke and Salisbury
  • London Waterloo and Basingstoke
  • London Waterloo and Feltham via Twickenham
  • London Waterloo and Guildford via Woking
  • London Waterloo and Woking

There will be no service on the Island Line.

Trains will only run between the hours of 0700 and 1900. There will be no other train services on our network outside of these times.
