Major engineering work takes place between Guildford and Havant from Saturday 25 October to Sunday 2 November.

On Saturday 25 October:

• London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Guildford services will terminate at Guildford.
• Buses will run between Guildford and Havant.
• Buses will run between Haslemere and Petersfield.
• A revised service will run between Havant and Portsmouth.

From Sunday 26 October to Sunday 2 November:

• London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Guildford services will terminate at Guildford.
• Buses will run between Guildford and Havant.
• A revised service will run between Havant and Portsmouth.

Major engineering work takes place on the Island Line in October and November.

From Saturday 18 October to Sunday 2 November, the Island Line will close between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin.

Rail replacement buses will run between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin.

From Monday 3 to Saturday 15 November, the Island Line will close between Ryde Pier Head and Ryde St Johns Road.

On Sunday 16 November, the Island Line will close between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin.

Rail replacement buses will run between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin.

Engineering work takes place between Wokingham and Reading from Saturday 25 to Monday 27 October.

Services between London Waterloo and Reading will start and finish their journeys at Wokingham, with rail replacement bus services between Wokingham and Reading.

Engineering work takes place between Bournemouth, Poole and Dorchester South from Saturday 15 to Friday 21 November 2025.

These works include the strengthening of a railway embankment, improvements to drainage, a footbridge replacement and other bridge renewal works.

Buses will replace trains and train services will be amended.

Please check before you travel as journeys will take longer than usual.

Saturday 15 November:

Hourly bus services will operate as follows:

• Between Bournemouth and Dorchester South, calling at Poole, Wareham and Wool.<.li>
• Between Bournemouth and Weymouth, calling at Poole, Wareham, Wool and Dorchester South.
• Between Bournemouth and Poole, calling at Branksome and Parkstone.

Sunday 16 November:

Hourly bus services will operate as follows:

• Between Bournemouth and Poole (direct service).
• Between Bournemouth and Weymouth, calling at Branksome, Parkstone, Poole, Hamworthy, Wareham, Wool, Moreton, Dorchester South. Buses will not call at Holton Heath.
• Between Bournemouth and Dorchester South, calling at Poole, Wareham and Wool.

Monday 17 to Friday 21 November:

Two buses per hour will operate between Poole and Dorchester, calling at Hamworthy, Holton Heath, Wareham, Wool and Moreton.
