Ewell West - accessible bridge construction

Improving accessibility and safety

We're investing millions of pounds to improve station facilities. We're building a new accessible footbridge with two lifts at Ewell West, providing step-free access between platforms 1 and 2. It's all part of our commitment to making travelling easier and convenient for everyone. Architect's impression of new bridge at Ewell West

Construction starts at the end of October and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019. We'll make every effort to reduce any disruption associated with the works, and the existing bridge will remain open during the construction of its replacement.

Unfortunately, the site offices and material storage will take up 36 car parking spaces, reducing the number of available bays. We'll bring all the spaces back into use after the work is finished.  The width of the platform will also be reduced temporarily in some areas.

During the work priority will be given to car park season ticket holders. Details of alternative car parking can found on the Epsom and Ewell Council website.

We're sorry for the temporary reduction in car parking facilities during the construction of the accessible bridge.
