Thursday 18 and Saturday 20 August 2022 strike timetable

The RMT union has announced that they will be taking national strike action on Thursday 18 and Saturday 20 August 2022. Services will be impacted between Thursday 18 and Sunday 21 August 2022. Please only travel if absolutely necessary during this period.

With Network Rail signallers and more than 2,100 SWR RMT members taking industrial action, SWR will run a dramatically reduced timetable on strike days, with significant parts of the network closed.

Please note that there will be a late starting service on Friday 19 and Sunday 21 August and you should check before you travel. On Friday 19 August, strike action will also affect London Underground, London Overground and London Bus services all day.

May 2022 timetable change

Timetables have changed from Sunday 15 May 2022. You can view the new timetables via the PDFs below.

Network Rail need to do engineering work to maintain and improve the rail network. They do a lot of this work at weekends and during holiday periods, but they also need to do some work overnight during the week.

If we need to close rail lines so Network Rail can carry out work, buses will replace train services. We may also have to alter train services over a wider area.

Please check for any changes to train times before travelling at weekends, late in the evening or early in the morning.

Don’t forget to check before you travel.
