Promotional Advance Ticket Terms and Conditions

  1. This promotion offers 25% discount on SWR Only Advance fares in First and Standard Class.
  2. Discounted tickets are on sale from 11 Sept 2019 until 18 Dec 2019. They are available online only through the booking link in South Western Railway’s exclusive 25% off emails.
  3. To obtain the discount, you must enter the unique PIN number which you have been sent as part of this promotion. This PIN number may only be used for one purchase of up to 9 tickets. No discount is available if the PIN number is not entered at the time of purchase.
  4. Discounted tickets are only available for journeys from selected stations where South Western Railway offer Advance tickets, which are generally for longer distance journeys.
  5. Travel until 19th December 2019, subject to availability.
  6. Advance fares are on sale up to 12 weeks before your date of travel. You can check if your travel date is on sale by checking here.
  7. Advance fares are for single (one-way) journeys and must be booked by 23:59 the day before travel. Tickets are sold subject to availability with cheaper fares generally available the earlier you book and on quieter trains.
  8. Normal child and Railcard discounts are available.
  9. Advance fares are valid only on the date and train(s) shown on the ticket and seat reservation(s).
  10. Advance fares are non-refundable but you can change the date and/or time of travel before departure of the first reserved train. You will need to pay a £10 administration fee, plus any difference in fares, to change each ticket.
  11. Some journeys may be affected by engineering works - therefore please check the South Western Railway website before travelling by clicking here to see if you will be affected.
  12. Tickets are sold subject to the National Rail Conditions of Travel.

  14. If the train(s) you have booked are cancelled due to industrial action, you may either travel on any train within 2 hours either side of your booked departure time, or claim a full refund for the journey booked.
