A trip to the zoo always makes for happy memories and great pictures, and London Zoo is one of the best there is. The zoo is huge, with animals from all across the world, and different themed areas such as Penguin Beach and the Land of the Lions, where you can get up close to the incredible residents.
Baby sloth Elio is the star that everybody wants to see. The super-slow cutie was born in April 2019 and was smaller than a keeper’s hand when she arrived. You’ll find her in the Rainforest Life indoor section.

London Zoo isn’t free to visit, but luckily we can help there. Until the end of the year SWR have a deal that gets you the cheapest ticket free whenever you buy an adult ticket.
After the zoo, we suggest making the most of Regent’s Park, maybe take along a picnic and enjoy it at the Marylebone Green playground. With three distinct zones, each packed with climbable, swingable attractions, it’s just perfect for releasing all that excited post-zoo energy. And if the weather’s not great for a picnic, you can always pop into the park’s Broad Walk Cafe for a reasonably-priced feed.
